Despite getting off to a slow start and being called into a question as a viable purchase option, the PlayStation 3 might just take the second spot in console sales after this generation is up.
Earlier today Sony announced that it has sold over 70 millions consoles worldwide since the console’s launch in 2006. The PS3 is now only a month behind the XBOX 360 which was released a year before the PS3.
Sony is currently selling about 13 to 14 million PS3 units per year. Microsoft , comparatively is selling fewer units. Up till now in this year, Microsoft has sold only 4 Million Units. If this trend continues, will the PS3 overtake the XBOX 360?
