Pages+ For iPhone Lets You Customize Individual Home Screens On Your iDevice

With the release of the Evasi0n untethered jailbreak for iOS, Cydia has become alive with activity. The most exciting fact is that the package submissions to the default repositories in Cydia have become more frequent and of a higher quality, meaning that we should see some innovation injected back into the world of jailbreaking. SBCoders, makers of the popular Deck and Aero packages are also back with the release of their latest premium package, Pages+.

Don’t be confused by the name, this isn’t an app that adds more functionality to the iOS Pages app. Instead, the app lets you select different wallpapers for each of your iPhone’s home screens, offering a whole new level of customization. Rather than bringing any kind of actual innovation in terms of functionality, Pages+ will likely appeal to those who like to tweak and modify the aesthetics of their device.

Using different wallpapers and backing panels will definitely bring a little extra spice to your iOS device, but I personally would like to see some additional options considering the fact that Pages+ costs $1.99. I would like to se live background support as well as changing wallpapers on every page. Still, those who love to customize the look and design of their iOS device should definitely be able to come up with some pretty awesome Pages+ combinations.

Pages+ is available as a $1.99 from the ModMyi repository and is compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 through 6.1. The iPad version is still in beta but it should be releasing really soon.
